About this app

HC Mobile offers near real-time tracking and data management to support field operations ranging from patient tracking, triage, monitoring, and transport to equipment, fatality, and resource tracking.

HC Mobile gives authorized users access to HC Standard®, a cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) application that supports data integration and standardization to meet interoperability needs. HC Mobile improves situational awareness for all patient encounters, evacuations, and transports throughout the entire incident management process. Easily capture, retrieve, and share information to improve decision making and support and enhance situational awareness. Exchange healthcare data in standard formats including HL7, FHIR, and NEMSIS to allow for discrete data capture, mapping and exchange with existing legacy data systems and electronic health records. The HC Mobile systems were designed for operations in austere environments including Disconnected, Intermittent, and Low-bandwidth (DIL) scenarios as may be present during natural disasters and Mass Casualty Incidents (MCIs).

Ideal for:
• First responders needing to record patient, fatality, personnel, or other resource information.
• Hospital clerks receiving trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients or from an MCI.
• Regional administrators who need to know which facilities have the capacity to receive patients.

The Patient Tracking module is simple yet comprehensive, providing compliance with national data standards for field electronic patient tracking and triage.

Key features:
• Accesses a broad range of data within HC Standard® with a single, customizable application.
• Collects and shares information, full-color video, encounter audio and high-resolution images in near real-time.
• Creates an encounter record with time, date, and GPS location stamps.
• Scans barcodes found on equipment, IDs, triage tags, or driver’s licenses, creating a unique system ID (automatically applying personal information stored on the driver’s license barcode).
• Utilizes the speech-to-text capabilities to allow for hands-free rapid input of data.
• Provides full system integration through secure web services with HC Standard® for further connectivity and visibility by hospitals, evacuation centers, emergency operations centers, and family reunification personnel.
• Allows rapid and secure login via a biometric interface.
• Operates natively and in a disconnected state enabling true application mobility. This allows for independence from tethered workstations, using isolated store and forward technology that can hold information in an offline state until the main database can be reached.

• Allows for 24/7/365 use. Useful during daily operations, mass gatherings, disasters, and MCIs.
• Complies with the Practitioner Steering Group (PSG) and OASIS working group standards. The PSG is sponsored by the DHS Office for Interoperability and Compatibility.
• Easy to modify and maintain with the existing IT Staff currently supporting operations.

What’s New in Version 2:
• Improved Performance
• Biometric Login
• Signature Collection
• Password Support
• Easier Navigation
• Dark and Light Theme Preferences
• Easier Configuration

Notes:
• This application is capable of background operation in a disconnected state.
• Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
