This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GEYE Connect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

I would really appreciate an update for this app to be able to use and shoot in landscape view from my phone when connected to WiFi. right now I can only view the footage from the geye upright on my phone which doesn't work well if mounted to a gimbal or stick.

brilliant and so simple to see up the quality is better than my gopro 3 and it's for a touch screen slow motion or fast speed videoing plus lots more it really is a work of genius with a massive 3 hour battery life built in WiFi and you can m pause live video and continue when your ready so no need for loads of editing 5 star for me

App is not connecting even though I'm connected to it's WiFi. Keeps on "connecting.." forever. As the latest update is already from 2017, it does not look compatible with Android 8.1

Spying fake app that pretends to operate camera while copying your contacts and all other info. Shame Decathlon! Edit: Also the default and INCHANGEABLE wifi pwd doesn't work! What a BS!

About this app

The GEYE CONNECT application will control your G-EYE 500 camera (2017 model) and G-EYE 900 (2017 model).

This app is not compatible with other G-eye cameras.

After using WIFI to pair your smartphone and camera, you will then be able to do the following:

1. In START mode on the application home page:
- Remotely set the parameters for photos, videos and manage the overall general settings
- Trigger, stop or pause video recording
- Take a picture
- Access all camera recording modes: photo, video, timelapse, slow motion, burst, ...
- Control video framing, live recording and do it remotely with your smartphone
- Directly view the photos or videos you took on your smartphone. All photos and videos stored in your camera are visible on your smartphone without the need for transfer.
- Easily download files on your smartphone to review your photos and videos (VISUALIZATION mode to the left of the REC BUTTON).

When you are offline, use Gallery mode on the application homepage.

2. Offline in the GALLERY mode on the application home page:
- Review all photos and videos uploaded to your smartphone
- Edit your videos: Delete sequences that do not interest you, add music available on your smartphone. Click on the downloaded video then the share button (bottom left then follow the procedure).
- Directly share your photos and videos on your favorite social networks from the application.

Please note: Before sharing on the social networks, your video will be stored on YOUTUBE in private mode, which requires the creation of an account before.
