Mobil Kent Rehberi Uygulaması; Eskişehir il merkezi için, kente gelen yerli-yabancı turistlerin tarihi, kültürel ve turistik mekanlara ulaşabilmesini ve bu mekanlar hakkında bilgi edinebilmesini amaçlamaktadır.
Uygulama Eskişehir il merkezi içerisindeki hastaneler, kafeler, camiler, bankalar, akaryakıt istasyonları, kamu hizmetleri, okullar, alış-veriş merkezleri, taksi, otobüs ve tramvay durakları, müzeler gibi noktaları içermektedir. Ayrıca sahip olduğu toplu taşıma menüsü ile gidilmek istenen mekanlara, il merkezinde bulunan tramvay ve otobüs hatlarını kullanarak kişinin bulunduğu noktadan kolaylıkla ulaşabilmesine olanak sağlamaktadır.
Mobil Kent Rehberi Uygulaması; Anadolu Üniversitesi, Yer ve Uzay Bilimleri Enstitüsü öğretim üyesi Yard. Doç. Dr. Uğur AVDAN tarafından yürütülen, 1503F133 nolu Bilimsel Araştırma Projesi kapsamında gerçekleştirilmiştir.
