What am I missing? We bought an Opal for the "smart" functionality. Either the machine or the app is not so smart. Perhaps because this is a Bluetooth only connection, the controlling decive has to be close by, powered on, with Bluetooth signal transmitting. I guess that means I'll be able to use the smart aspects of this machine when I'm standing in my kitchen. I guess that's "1990s smart". Hmmmm

I'd love for someone to explain why this app needs access to my photos and media in order to find the ice maker. The feedback button literally does nothing, and help only takes you to a FAQ. The app is almost as useless as the incredibly loud and inefficient as the ice maker itself

Well just like everyone else, I am unable to pair my ice maker. I am able to turn on & of the nightlight but that's it. I would like to use the schedule feature.

Allows me to turn on and off the lights and the Ice Making, but I can't figure out how the scheduler works. Are the hours highlighted supposed to be on or off? I tried to set a schedule but when the time I expected the ice maker to start making ice, nothing happened. I ended up needing to manually turn on the ice making at 4 am to ensure I would have ice three hours later. The app is NOT intuitive and there are NO instructions available at least not where I could find them.

Why would this app to control my icemaker need to know my location 24/7, or anytime. I tried to restrict it to only when I am using the App but it wouldn't work. Obviously if the icemaker is in bluetooth range then I am by the icemaker. Otherwise I am not. The app does not need to know where I am when I am not by the ice maker. Uninstalled.
