What gives? I have Android 8.1.0 and new software says it's not compatible with my pad and I can't get past the new app download page to use the old app. The smart feature on my washer that I paid extra for is now USELESS. Giving zero stars is being generous. I had to give 1 for it to post

Works great and like the laundry icon so I dont get appliances confused.

Why not make a new version that works? This used to work on my older phone and I enjoyed being notified when my laundry was ready to put in the dryer or when it was finished drying. Got a newer phone and now the app is 'no longer supported'? Sucks!

A pain to connect. I got the latest washer/dryer combo and it took me several hours over several days to discover how to connect my phone app to the washer/dryer. Customer service doesn't pick up. The first time I opened this app, it said that I would need to turn on location. That is the key. I couldn't connect until I turned on my phone's GPS. But if you miss that the first time, or don't remember, you are done for.

This app is useless! I downloaded the app. Registered. Granted the app access to my wifi enabled washer & dryer... and then the second I clicked "yes I allowed the app access" the screen went blank... so I closed the app and opened it back up and all the screen has is the GE logo and it does absolutely NOTHING!!!!! I paid a heck of a lot of money for my washer and dryer be wifi enabled.... this is horrible! Please can someone contact me to help work this issue out? I will return both!

It's ok, but mainly only good for monitoring time left. Doesn't support multiple phones, so my wife and I can't both use the app without kicking each other off. You also can't remotely start appliances without turning them on and hitting 'delay', which kinda defeats the purpose to me. I also don't like that I have to register to use the app and that it has to go through the web/cloud. In the end it's an app for controlling a washer and dryer so I shouldn't expect much, but for some reason it just didn't wow me.
