So after giving my address when signing up for a profile, a requirement needed to use the app, said app gives the weather forecast for a completely different state. Sure, it can be updated, but just an example of how everything about this app seems outdated, needless, and not consumer friendly. Take advantage of Bluetooth technology, GE, and minimize customer data mining. No clue on how to rename the 2 units I own to tell them apart, or why the language choices are English and Italiano only.

The app didn't save my AC unit after I set it up, and when I try setting it up again it gets stuck trying to "find your appliance in the cloud." I've spent an hour on the "quick 10 minute setup" because my allegedly "smart" AC can't phone home it's serial number.

The app fails to connect the AC to the WiFi constantly. I've tried to connect 6 times and it makes it as far as (signing into the cloud) then it stalls out and disconnects. I've tested my WiFi with other products and no issues there. This app however refuses to connect the AC even after following all directions. Until it works I rate 1 star for consistent failure

Definitely not the best app but it does come in useful. Hit or miss whenever connecting to unit but that's not my main gripe. I just wish there were more control on the unit away from home. Also, I'm not able to see current temp without turning the unit on when using the app remotely. Definitely could use an overhaul of the whole app and make it more user-friendly.

Only works if connected to the same network, also i will change settings in the app then look 5 seconds later and it will revert right back to what it was before. Doesn't seem to be working at all...

Changed to 5 stars, because found out wife created different account instead of mine, so I used hers and now have no issues on either phone. I love the app and had no issues, until my wife decided she needed it installed on her phone. Got everything setup and then noticed it doesn't work on mine anymore. So I'm guessing can only work on one phone?
