About this app

Good Friday App is a simple tool to remember various events that occurred on this significant day in world history. An account of 36 events covering a 24 hour period is given along with an image of a classic piece of artwork depicting the event. Useful for Christian devotion, scheduled reminders at times of the day or over a shorter time period can be set to prompt a worshipper to prayer and contemplation of each event. Each notification includes a corresponding sound effect as an audible "icon". Or, the alerts can be set silent.
(Future enhancements include location-based vs. time scheduled alerts. This is a not-so-polished first release, but which I hope can still be of some use to many during this year's Holy Week impacted by the current pandemic.)

New features

All images are of classic art in the public domain. All audio was self-generated or compiled from only royalty-free public domain sound-clip samples.
