Version 2.0 (and older versions) stops smart notifications on the (top of the range) S62 watch if you have this app installed. Garmin have been aware of this for over 6 months now and have done absolutely nothing to address it. Awful.

Having used this for a while now, I'm changing my score to 3*. Reason being when you review you score card some of the drive don't display, as if the screen cuts it off. Poor and needs fixing!

Love it with my G80. Be nice if it updated Strava as well as connect. Same as my running, swimming, cycling does on my other garmin. Just started both golf and garmin golf app and loving it

Occasionally will have connection issues between the phone and watch but seems to be phone related. Easy to use app and love the shot tracking.

Not a fan of the new update as theres no no option for dark mode. Can you add that as a feature we can enable or disable please ? Loved the old version

About this app

Add another level of fun and competition to your game with the free Garmin Golf app. Download it to your phone to compete with your friends and fellow golfers. Each round can take on a tournament feel on any of more than 40,000 courses worldwide.

When paired with a compatible Garmin device, the Garmin Golf app lets you track your golf game in several ways. Some Garmin devices allow you to upload scorecards in real-time directly through the Garmin Golf app. Other devices require uploading your round through the Garmin Connect app on your phone or Garmin Express on your computer, and then you can review leaderboards and stats in Garmin Golf. You can also receive smart notifications and respond to notifications from some compatible Garmin devices that are paired with the app.

If you don’t have a compatible Garmin device, you can still use the app to participate in weekly leaderboards and tournaments by entering your score manually. Players can also set up their own tournament events, invite multiple friends to compete and live chat with one another during the events.
