This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SmartIPC on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The setup was a bit cumbersome to connect. The camera WiFi was balky to connect. It does record to SD and take stills. I am going to see how the email functions, requires a lot of setup there but the price was right.

Compared with Belkin NetCam, DropCam, this is the best one, stable, responsive, crystal image quality. Best of all, barely replace your home bulb with this camera, then all set, you can control your light bulb remotely with no delay
