Works as intended most of the time, but needs some serious debugging. I'm always "earning points" after I close the app, even if I'm just sitting in my room. I've had plenty times where I'd get stuck on a black screen when trying to plan a trip. Sometimes it'll award points and upload data for a trip, and then the next time I go to plan a new trip and click "depart now" it won't let me because it's stuck on the last trip. Also the auto-logging no longer works. Good concept, okay execution.

I really wanted to cut this app some slack knowing that it's a project that's somewhat in development, but damn, it may be the single buggiest, most frustrating app I've ever used. Among the problems I've encountered: 1. Basic trip tracking is pretty screwy right now. I would say that of that 20+ trips I've tried to track, it has successfully given me credit for about 5 of them. That's a success rate of 25%. That's appalling! What is going on if your app can't even deliver a 99% success rate for its primary function? 2. When you try to start tracking a trip, the app takes an absurdly long time "searching" for your various commute options, to the point that it's basically a complete headache to do what Google Maps does in .3 seconds. If my daily commute is always by train or subway, EVERY SINGLE DAY, why can I not just select that option and be on my way in 2 seconds? Why am I standing on a subway platform, staring at a bizarre "searching" animation for more than a minute, unable to start a trip even though my train is arriving? Come on! 3. Automatic trip tracking DOES NOT WORK. Full stop. I have never had it detect a single trip I didn't preemptively set up, despite it having full location access on my phone. 4. You're allowed to schedule trips in the future using the "depart later" function, but you can't set up any sort of "recurring trip". Why not????? I'd wager that for 99% of users, their daily commute is the same thing, both ways, EVERY DAY. Why isn't a regular commute scheduling feature a day one option? Just bizarre. This app seems like such a cool idea, and for sustainability/environmentally-minded people, you'd really want to make it easy to use. But the baffling design decisions and the staggering unreliability and constant failures of the app just make you want to rip your hair out. I will follow the development and hope that they improve it over time, but please devs, PLEASE, fix the basic features of the app. I should be able to click one easy button to track a trip and never worry about it again, or better yet, schedule them to be automatically tracked every day without any regular input. It is crazy that I've taken several commutes now where you tell me I'm tracking my trip, and then NOTHING. NO POINTS. That's just a real shame. Hope you can get these issues ironed out, because if so, I'll happily promote the app to all my friends and coworkers!

It's nice when it does work, but probably about 50% of the time it crashes at the beginning and I can't even start a trip, or it crashes during my trip and it doesn't get tracked. I've had some issues not being able to click "depart now" when my trip starts at a metro station and I am at the station already. Sometimes when I try to start at a metro station, it also doesn't find any available transit options.

I love the idea of this app and want it to be good. Unfortunately it's one of the buggiest apps I've ever used. You constantly have to figure out what combination of wifi/data settings will allow it to work, and if you get it wrong it just hangs. I also wish there was a way to save trips that you make every day rather than having to create a new one each time. The permissions it asks for also seem suspicious and unnecessary.I have gotten 4 checks so far so at least there is that.

Wanted to give this a fair shake despite the lackluster reviews. I'd say it worked maybe 30% of the time. I had to force stop it every time because when I'm not on transit it eats my battery but it never closed in the normal way. Sometimes it just... wouldn't find transit options, even when I was literally standing at a metro station (would only give me car share info) needing to go to another metro station. Today it just never opened. Just kept showing the icon screen. Will probably delete.

Two stars instead of one because it's a neat concept. I tried it for a drive, and at the end it said I got no points because I didn't follow the planned route. But I did follow the planned route exactly. Also, they need to add the Loudoun County Metro Connection buses. I take them every work day, but this app doesn't seem to know about them, so I will miss out on most of the incentives available to me. Overall, this app is useless to me without some major changes.
