Figured it out! The downloaded song had a ".bin" in the file name after the ".mp3" and wasnt recognized as an audio file. Why frostwire is doing this is a good question but its a simple fix. Delete the .bin from the file name and my phone recognizes it and plays the song perfectly. Please stop putting the .bin in the file name frostwire. I know it's u cuz every time I confirm the download it's not there until the download finishes. Android doesn't support bin files obviously.. 🙄

This app has worked for my computer as well as phones over the years. I have seeded with everything I have downloaded so that we could all share. Here rescently I have not been able to find the music I search for every result turns up 0, and not able to connect every time I open app even on home wifi. Smh. So much for adding to my music collection so that I can listen to it offline at work.

I love this app... I've been using it for over 5 years and I am never disappointed. idk what I would do without this! EDIT... I just downloaded an update and to my disappointment, I can't even browse for music now bcuz the app crashes every time I open it. FrostWire needs to fire everyone and start over. you're just money hungry and it's unfortunate.

I'm pissed. I can't download anything anymore because the stupid BitTorrent button in settings won't stay on! I flip it on but as soon as I leave settings to try and resume a download it tells me it's off. And sure enough I check settings again and it's toggled off. What the hell is wrong with this damn thing it's been like this for months and I'm super irritated. Why couldn't Limewire still be a thing?

I used Frostwire for the first time in 2018, since then I've tried many different torrent downloaders and became more knowledgeable about computers in general. Through the years, when everything else failed, Frostwire was there to welcome me back with open arms and no judgments for leaving. Even when all it wants to say is, "I told you no one else can give you what you want with better quality than me." Thanks Frostwire for being the one relationship I can keep.

It's great except that there seems to be absolutely no way of purchasing the pro version I've tried over the years never works. Also it is nearly impossible to tell whether or not when you get a hit it's actually going to download or not until you hit one or two different downloads and one of them actually eventually starts downloading.
