2019, still doesn't work. Can only log rides if you lock your screen on. Who wants their phone screen on for 20+minutes? Text size is problematic, so you cant read data clearly as large fonts flow onto multiple lines. Cannot load data from your team or rankings. The only use for this is to manually input your trips if you dont have computer access, and even that process has little to no documentation or clarity.

App is not working well this year in trip tracker mode. It has stopped mid trip or chimed nonstop so I just closed the app. I've resorted to manual entry of my trips. Previous versions worked just fine for me.

"UPLOAD FAILED! You have not join the event yet." I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I have joined the event and I'm trying to log one more commute using the app. The event site says I have to sync the app to my website login, but there are zero instructions to do that anywhere on the site or on the app ... I'm logged into both on my phone and they're not recognizing each other. I thought I'd give it a try before the event closes for the year, but no dice. Maybe I'll have better luck next year.

UPDATE: It's a year later and NOTHING has changed. It will NOT log anything when the screen is off. It's useless in this state. --- 6/14/18 Tracking just doesn't work after a few minutes. Either the screen timing out or the app itself going into the background may be the cause. Same problem as last year. Will continue using MapMyRide for tracking and manually enter in my miles from the web interface. Sorry devs, can't give this any stars beyond the obligatory one.

Updated review: They fixed a lot of issues in my previous review. Still needs work with some minor bugs, but it is much improved now. Old review: This app needs a ton of work. First of all, the GPS tracking is totally busted. It looks like it only pings your location every 5-10 minutes and then draws a line through the points, so it ends up showing me going through houses and lawns. Also it's not pinging me when I press start, so it's missing the first 1.5 miles or so if my trip. So far it has undercounted my trips by 20%. Lastly, even the timer doesn't work. I compared the timer to my clock when it started and stopped and it's just wrong. Edit 1: Thanks to whoever responded to me. The new update has greatly improved tracking. +2 stars. Unfortunately, the app now sends me a notification every couple seconds, so I've had to disable notifications from the app.

Srsly...sending a notification to my phone every 3 seconds? When you use location tracking, it sends a notification every 3 seconds. Is that the only way you could think of to update my location, or did you forget a debug flag?
