Used to be good, but they look to have dropped the ball in terms of any support. The add new course function on their website is broken (Google maps API subscription expired) and they don't appear to be responding to support requests. I can't see how they can continue to sell this app and at this stage I could not recommend this app and I'm looking for a replacement.

Same thing that everybody else is experiencing. This used to be an excellent app. It worked flawlessly. In the last year-and-a-half every time I've used it you get one or two holes in and it freezes and it won't let you unlock your phone or it just goes black screen. Having to struggle for 5 minutes trying to get the phone to reboot is the only way to get it to work again. And then it's very sketchy again and after a whole or two it locks once again. No app updates in 2 years.

For you other Samsung users like I just became, to get the app to reduce the crashing of your phone you can go into your settings, battery usage, and add freecaddie to your never sleep list. This should keep the phone from crashing for about an hour. I still get crashing after an hour due to the screen interface locking up, I am still working on this.

This app used to be pretty good. I paid for the pro version back in the day. However the last 2 phones I've had (galaxy s7 and note 10) both had issues crashing and freezing the screen while using the app. In most cases I had to do a hard reset because the screen would be disabled.

What happened to this great app, downloaded years ago on advice from a friend, it never let me down to the point i bought Pro version, not played golf for a couple of years and now this year I'm back. I have a Garmin watch, a Shot saver tablet style device and Free Caddie on my phone, have used all in past and usually preferred accuracy of the phone location. But now.....needs too many permissions, is slow to update and occasionally locks up..needing reboot to get rid of it......WHAT DID YOU DO?

Freezes android phone if you let the screen go to sleep with the app open. I contacted the company for support with no response. Dead program, do not install.
