Be nice if it used tvdb and tmdb API to auto get cover art. Also the app crashes when downloading from dlna (kodi). Otherwise a fantastic option

What is Parent Mode supposed to do? I see no difference other than color. The thumb from DLNA right now it grabs from a random frame which takes forever. A normal jpeg thumbnail is already provided by the DLNA server.

About this app

Easy Videos for Kids is an application made for kids for them to be able to find easily the movie they want and watch it.
You just have to set the local directory where kids'movies are and/or place where these movies are on your UPnP DLNA media server, and then let your kids play with the application. They can browse through directories but cannot get outside of the defined root directories.
If your kids don't read, you can also configure a local directory where you can stock thumbnails that will be displayed instead of the ones retrieved from the files and on the directory icons. So they will be able to find the movie they want.

This application is only a media browser and do not embed any video player. You have to install one such as MX Player or VLC.
