So... This is unique. I submitted a ticket on hanging notifications through the app, expecting the usual brush off and nothing in response. Instead, I got a follow up email when the app updated directly addressing my ticket. I was astonished. So, bonus points there. Then, the app itself is free of ads, which is refreshing after paying for the watch. Unrelated to the app, the watch has incredible battery life (regularly 3+ weeks), and I couldn't recommend it, or this companion app more.

As mentioned in other comments. I had to uninstall this app! 2 weeks ago the app used over 2g of data without asking permission (I have the app set to only sync when I open it and have the background data turned off unless I'm walking and want to use the GPS). After that use of my data randomly received a notification from my phone provider telling me my data was almost used for the month (I was only 1 week into my new billing cycle). Fossil used over 7g of my data, using all I had left.

Works occasionally. When I try to assign contacts to specific numbers on my watch, I am met with a tech error almost every time. I've been trying for a year to assign contact. Every blue moon I can assign some, then it stops again after assigning a few. Sometimes alerts my to notifications, but most of the time doesn't. Every once in a while it works for a few weeks, then just stops again. Super unreliable, only using it because I don't want to buy a new watch right now.

(1) A recent update has broken sleep data sync with Google Fit (issue others have mentioned as well). Pre-existing issues: (2) wildly inflated step counts. (3) App requires _manual_ syncing every week or else old data is erased (4) I don't believe all data is synced to Fit, only recent data. (5) Would be nice to set Messenger to notify about calls but not messages.

My app prompted me to update my watch 2 days ago. Everything was working fine before that and had been for 6 weeks. In the last 2 days, the sync procedure is taking longer and longer to work. Sometimes sync will update in the app BEFORE the info on the watch face itself will update. And now, as of today, the watch is stuck in home position. I can see the current synced info but can not scroll down the page in the app to see any further info or to see past days. Can only see current info.

Just got 4.7 installed. Seems more stable than before, Haven't gotten the ghost call notification, yet. Let's hope that bug is permanently fixed. Love the larger font option. Only problem I have is the phone app itself. My phone has a screen of 1080x1620, and when I go to the customization > Edit, I literally only can see a line of 10 pixels between the watch face, and the 5 buttons bottom menu, and that makes selecting any of the options next to impossible. Please fix the scaling on that page! I honesyly don't think the watch face needs to be that big on that page. Another suggestion would be to add another option in the "Do Not Disturb" setting, Currently, there is always on, always off, and mirror phone. It would be nice to add a "Off Wrist" option for people like me who don't wear it to bed. That option can turn off notification as well as the heart rate monitoring LED to save on battery.
