This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Montevideo Parking on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Olvidate de ir al kiosco o escribir el SMS para pagar por el estacionamiento tarifado de Montevideo (Uruguay).

Montevideo Parking facilita la compra de tickets de estacionamiento para clientes de ANTEL y MOVISTAR. Basta con registar tus vehículos o los de tus amigos (una ÚNICA vez) en la aplicación y ésta se encargará de generar y enviar el SMS de forma automática.
El modo de 'envío programado' permite comprar tickets por adelantado en el día. Por ejemplo, si estaciona su vehículo a las 8am, puede comprar en ese mismo instante el ticket para que sea funcional a las 10am (hora de comienzo del servicio).
Toda la interfaz fue diseñada para ser vista con facilidad por aquellos con visión reducida.

Una vez comprado el ticket, su vehículo queda registrado en el sistema de la Intendencia de Montevideo. La policía verifica esta base de datos antes de multar los vehículos. Por lo tanto, no es necesario el ticket físico.

A partir de febrero de 2014 la hora de estacionamiento tarifado tiene un costo de $ 24, existiendo la posibilidad de contratar un mínimo de 30 minutos ( valor $ 12 ) y luego en múltiplo de 30 minutos. Cinco minutos antes de que expire el tiempo contratado, el sistema envía un mensaje recordatorio de que el tiempo está por vencer.

Considerando las necesidades de los usuarios y aspectos técnicos, el horario de funcionamiento del sistema de estacionamiento tarifado es de lunes a viernes de 10 a 18, en el área geográfica delimitada por las siguientes calles:

Al este:
- Arenal Grande.
Al oeste:
- Colón (sin incluirla).
Al sur:
- Reconquista (sin incluirla).
- Soriano (hasta M. Trueba).
- Constituyente, hasta Carlos Roxlo y
- J. E. Rodó (sin incluirla).
Al norte:
- Piedras (sin incluirla), entre Colón y Ciudadela.
- Paysandú, entre Ciudadela y Av. Libertador Lavalleja.
- Galicia, entre Av. Libertador Lavalleja y Ejido.
- Mercedes, entre Ejido y Arenal Grande.
