Free version only allows 2 creatures (which is fine), doesn't let you set the background color (which is also fine), and only lets you scare the creatures by shake (which is really too limited, touch should be on). I don't mind paying a small fee, but I should know what I'm buying first. In addition, the original open source app also used face recognition and that's apparently not used here.
