Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing FP Legacy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Newly updated maps will uninstall over night. Just updated all expired downloads, and when I checked today, everything was gone. Maps won't load on screen, even with offline only mode turned off. Very glitchy, just like the main fltplan go app.

* Due to complications with new mapping software inside the FltPlan Go app some devices are no longer compatible. To bypass this we have uploaded an older version of the FltPlan Go app, version 3.3.8, which was the newest release before the version 4.0 which contained the new mapping software.

FP Legacy is this older version of FltPlan Go. FP Legacy will not be updated past version 3.3.7, however the Airports Database, Maps, and various other charts and files will still be updated on the monthly update cycle. *
