It's pretty much a fact.

Everyone wants to win the lottery, everyone would LOVE the cash that comes with it... but few people have ever gone to the extremes I have, to find out HOW the darn thing works.

I'm serious, even as a kid, I was obsessed with how things worked.

I remember getting a watch for my birthday and taking it apart, to see what made it tick.

Well, picking your own numbers keeps you from getting combinations of recent winners... which increases your chances of winning.

That's right, you want to play numbers that haven't been part of a winning combination in a long time.

If you use quick picks... you have no control over that.

And this is something most people don't know, and wouldn't know... unless they made it a point to.

Well, I learned this after years of studying and tracking winning lottery numbers on the Florida website.

I spent YEARS finding patterns and trying to figure out any rhyme or reason.

So, unless you did all the research I did, you'd just assume that playing quick picks was just as likely to make you a winner.

Nope.

Another secret I learned?

In lotteries where a winner is drawn from a raffle, you increase your odds of winning by playing the week after a huge jackpot.

Why?

Fewer people play the lottery after a big cash prize has been won... so that means your odds go up.

Less people playing means you have a better chance of winning. This is why it's foolish when tens of thousands of people come out of the wood work to play when a Powerball reaches record heights.

You're actually LESS likely to win then because of all the extra players jumping in.

Bottom line, if you want my formula, along with the other "inside secrets," I've collected over the years...

When you go to a store to buy scratch tickets, ask the clerk which ones have returned the most winners.

Pick a scratch game that has had mostly losses because that means a win should be coming up soon.

Again, you're stacking the odds in your favor, so you don't want to play games that have had a lot of recent winners.

Instead, play the game that has had a lot of losers lately... and you'll be more likely to find a winning ticket.
