Love Flickr and the editing options, but as off the update I'm having a lot of trouble uploading it will just be stuck saying "uploading..." For hours. And when photos do upload finally they are no longer doing to my phone nor am I able to save them to my phone though the actual photo either. Please fix this stuff, the update has made it unusable. EDIT: I did message the support team when I posted this and still no response a week later πŸ‘

Photos do not appear on others feed for sometimes hours at a time which is drastically dropping the faves people would typically get. This really shouldn't be a problem when so many people pay for this service. It's been going on for awhile now which makes me question whether it will be fixed at all. With ongoing issues such as this one and horrible customer service, I do not recommend Flickr.

I have no idea what happened, but after updating, I am getting a wall of "recommended" photos and none of the photos from the people I follow and I don't see any option to turn this off. Edit: I seem to be seeing new photos that have been uploaded since this update, but I would have missed dozens from people I follow if I wasn't also using RSS to keep track of them. (RSS feeds for life!)

struggles to load images in my albums. that's the whole point of the app? also, apparently you can't download images from mobile web, just the app and the desktop site, yet, the app is buggy and frequently won't load. as I type this, I realize there is absolutely 0 reason to continue using Flickr in modern times if the only reliable UI is the desktop website (which crashed for a week in July)

I followed: From the Android app: Open the app | click on the Camera icon. Tap the image in the bottom left of the screen. This will take you to your Albums. Find the photos/videos you want to upload, tap on each one | tap Done. Add details to your photo: title, description, location, set privacy level, etc. Tap Upload. didnt work effing usless, uninstalling. Side note cant upload photos through Chrome browser either on android.

7/28/2023: well, it uploads, but won't assign to an album via the app. Not during upload, and not from the photostream either.. Still sucks overall. -----older review Won't upload images anymore through the app. Uploading images (not through auto upload) was terrible before ; now it simply doesn't work. Sharing from A+ Gallery to Flickr also no longer works. This App needs a much improved upload functionality. And a way to search for album (and just your own; don't care about other users).
