The pot of the future has arrived: With the Fissler Cooking App and the vitacontrol® digital, Fissler combines the benefits of the pressure cooker with the opportunities of the digital era for a healthy and enjoyable diet.
Fissler combines a quick and at the same time gentle preparation in the pressure cooker with the wide range of opportunities provided in the digital era. The Fissler Cooking App on your smartphone or tablet serves as the smart cooking assistant here: It has an inspirational recipe gallery for Pressure Cooking and Pressureless Steaming with step-by-step instructions, knows the cooking times for over 170 ingredients, and is enhanced by regular updates. It is connected to the vitacontrol® digital via Bluetooth®: As a result the app always knows how high the pressure is in the cooker, and forwards this information to the program. Consequently you are kept informed about whether the stove temperature needs to be adjusted, and how long the food will still take to cook. Preparation with the pressure cooker can thus be monitored without any problem and conveniently, even when you are not in the kitchen. Intelligent and uncomplicated - simply smart cooking.

Pressure cooking for everybody
The Fissler Cooking App can naturally also be used without the vitacontrol® digital. All the recipes, cooking times, and information are contained in a digital cookbook which can also be used for "pressure cooking" in other Fissler pressure cookers.

Important note due to many inquiries:
The connection between your vitacontrol®digital and smartphone or tablet is based on Bluetooth® wireless technology.
Unfortunately, starting with the Android 6.0 operating system, it is necessary first to approve the location request to use apps that use Bluetooth® wireless technology.
If not approved, the Android operating system will disable the Bluetooth® connection to your vitacontrol®digital.
The query pop-up will be generated by the Android operating system and not by the Fissler Cooking app.
The Google-selected text of the pop-up, "Allow Fissler Cooking App to access this device's location?", unfortunately suggests the opposite.
Please rest assured: The Fissler Cooking app has no functions to determine your location and store or forward, promised!
