FISHBUOY™ Pro v.2.3 - Update!

We recognize that not all angler's want the same thing. Whether you are a recreational angler who fishes a few times a year, or an avid angler who fishes multiple times per month, we've made some improvements to streamline whichever angler type you are.

FISHBUOY Pro v.2.3 is an all-in-one fishing app designed to help anglers digitally log their fish catches and access real-time water, marine and weather conditions. What makes FISHBUOY Pro unique is it's ability to automatically tag each photo with real-time water/marine and weather data from the time and location the photo was taken. This reduces manual data entry and helps anglers compare historical and current conditions to identify trends and patterns.

FISHBUOY PRO KEY FEATURES:

ADVANCED DIGITAL FISH LOGGING

FISHBUOY Pro expands your mobile device's camera into a fish catch logging tool that helps anglers rapidly save and tag fish catch data, water, marine and weather conditions to each photo - automatically. User's may also edit/update catch data via the new log edit options. Fish catches are always stored privately and are NOT shared publicly.

RECREATIONAL/AVID ANGLER MODES:

If you don't care about logging environmental conditions, but want to store your catches in a single app, we've created a simple workflow for Recreational Anglers. For data-driven Avid Anglers, we've created the ability to tag photos with real-time water gauge, marine buoy and weather information to help you find patterns and trends in your data. Simply select which type of angler you are directly from the home page.

FISHMAPS/PRIVATE SPOTS:

Each photo is automatically added to your PRIVATE and interactive map. Displaying your fish catches on a map helps you to quickly conduct in-depth analyses of YOUR fishing spots using geographic and time filtering features. The public/private sharing option has been discontinued.

NAVIONICS BATHYMETRY MAPS:

Beyond FISHMAPS, we've integrated the world's most popular lake contouring software - NAVIONICS. Now you can see your fish catches over contour maps or plan locations before you head out onto the water. Simply use your existing NAVIONICS App login credentials.

ACCESS REAL-TIME INLAND AND MARINE BUOY WATER CONDITIONS:

No matter where you go, understanding water conditions is key to success. Water conditions influence fish feeding times and locations, spawning/post-spawning migrations, ability for fish to see or smell your bait, etc. FISHBUOY Pro gives you access to NOAA, USGS, Environment Canada and Canada's Water Office data. In a single app, you can access all the information you would traditional source through online site or multiple apps.

ACCESS REAL-TIME WEATHER DATA:

FISHBUOY Pro connects anglers to weather maps that include Doppler radar, wind speed and direction, air temperatures, Great Lakes surface/bottom temps, etc.

FISHGALLERY:

Have you ever tried to show a fish photo from your devices photo tool? Like most of us, it probably took you a long time. Not with FISHBUOY Pro. Your entire history of fish catches can be recalled instantly. We've also added a filter by species and time to speed up the process!

FISHBUOY GROUPS

Create private Fishing Groups and share your fish catches with your close buddies. Each photo posted offers details about water conditions, weather conditions, fish species, bait color, and location. Groups also help anglers organize their catch by Lake Name, Species, etc. NEW - show individual group photos on a map!

FISHBUOY EVENTS:

Convert your group into an event/tournament and let the games begin. Events allow participants to share their fish photos to a single group and view their ranking throughout the competition. The group creator can add participants via email, hide sensitive data such as where fish are being caught and much more.
