This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing FishLogger - (simple fish diary) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

The simplicity of the app is the main feature.
You go fishing, catch a fish, take a picture, and keep on fishing. The data that is stored together with your captured picture will be your diary!

Together with mobile data/wifi and a gps satellite connection, the FishLogger app is able
to provide basic weather information such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure.

How to use this app ? Turn on your mobile data or wifi, and your gps. Wait for the gps symbol to turn white instead of red. When you have a gps signal, go ahead and press the camera button on the screen to capture an image of your fish. Now just wait for the app to upload the image to your personal gallery in the app.

The information is then sorted based on month and date, and the catches are sorted in a listview based on the time of the catch. The information that is displayed is also synchronized to your signed in account so there is no problem if you would uninstall the app or lose your device.

Basic weather information is stored for the specific catch together with the location for the catch and the current phase of the moon. There is a possibility to add some additional information such as fish length and weight, bait used, water temperature. There is also the possibility to change the units from metrics system to imperial!


This app is your simple, easy to use, fishing diary! Keep yourself updated with when, where, and why the fish is biting.


Don't forget, it is not a coincidence why the fish are biting, when they are biting, and most importantly where they are when they are biting!
