Will this app ever be updated? I learned of it at my RE office. When I loaded it, the front "flower" design looks like it's stuck and I cannot navigate it. I see some of the terms, but then when I touch the center female icon it goes into the Running Out of Options area. There is no logic behind its navigation. I'm working on an Android phone (which the advertising says is compatible). In the app store it says the last update was in 2018, so will this ever be fixed or updated (August 2020)?

The meditation audios stop working one minute into the track. It doesn't help when you're stressed and want to meditate to have every track in the meditation section stop after one minute. This app requires some tech fixes immediately.

I like the layout of the app and the content. Only issue is when I do any audio meditations and my screen times out the meditation stops so I have to unlock my screen every 15 seconds which isn't very meditative!

About this app

FertiCalm
Calm. Content. And in Control.
An App Designed for Women Experiencing Infertility

The purpose of this app is to provide instant stress relief, coping skills, and emotional support for women who are struggling to conceive, whether or not they are receiving infertility treatment. Women experiencing infertility report equivalent distress levels to women with cancer, HIV+ or heart disease. Yet they are young, healthy, and technologically savvy.
There are no comparable apps on the market. Women with infertility spend a huge amount of time online, seeking support and information. Since the majority do not tell friends or family that they are experiencing infertility, their interest in technologically available products to meet these needs is growing. The vast majority of women (approximately 80%) experiencing infertility never see a mental health professional; they are currently choosing blogs and chat rooms over face time with counselors.
The concept of this app is to provide a variety of options for every situation which has the potential to cause the woman distress. The situations are listed below.
The design would be as follows:
When a woman clicks on the app, she would see a flower-like image. The center of the flower is the silhouette of a woman. Each petal would be titled with one of the 12 categories listed below. When she clicks on one of the petals, she would then see a different flower-like image, with the category presented in the center of the flower and each petal would present a sub-category, which is a specific situation known to cause distress. When she chooses the situation she is currently facing, she would then be presented with another flower, this one with six petal options for stress relief. These would include one petal which includes a link to the relaxation page, which contains ten to twenty different guided relaxations, a cognitive suggestion (how to think differently), a behavioral suggestion (how to behave), and a social suggestion, including some suggested snappy comeback lines, a petal on humor, and a petal on self nurturance.
