TL;DR: Don't buy this for Mitsubishi Electric aircon units, stick to your remote control or use other IR controllers. There is very little info on the internet on Wi-Fi support for Singapore units, but this is the Wi-Fi module for Mitsubishi Electric Starmex units provided by our installer. At $150 a piece you are better off using cheaper IR based solutions out there. Especially since this app 1) takes several seconds and multiple tries to set up and connect for the current aircon status, 2) keeps reporting "Connection fail" unless the app is freshly restarted, 3) does not integrate with smart assistants unlike what they say on their website, 4) does not support all available modes that the remote control has, and 5) only has a tolerable UI if you have patience. I would love to help provide more feedback to improve this app (I spent $300+ ok) but my expectations are low.
