About this app

Bike computer using your phone's GPS. Fully functional, no ads. Written for cyclists by cyclists. Features include mapping, sending current location to another phone via SMS text messages, saving completed track to file for import into Google Earth / Maps, etc.

This app will continue to run in the background while you browse other apps. Stats are even available if the screen is locked.

Although designed for cycling, it can be used for any activity where a minimum speed of 1 meter/sec (about 2.24 mph) can be maintained.

The main display has two buttons:
1) Start / Pause Tracking
2) Stop Tracking
After pressing Start Tracking button it will change from green to yellow and function as Pause Tracking button.

The main display includes nine statistics:
1) current speed (in mph or kph)
2) distance (in miles or kilometers)
3) total time (in hrs:min:sec)
4) total ride (moving) time (in hrs:min:sec)
5) current altitude (in feet or meters)
6) total climbing (in feet or meters)
7) average speed (in mph or kph)
8) maximum speed (in mph or kph)
9) an estimation of the current gradient (in percent incline)

A menu exists on upper right side (three dots). Here additional features can be accessed such as:
- Mapping - See where you've gone on a map. No need to stop or pause the tracking in order to map your path. It's available anytime.
- Save to file - After completing a ride you can save the track to a KML file. KML files can be imported into Google Earth and Google Maps, as well as other mapping applications. These files are named with the time-date stamp representing the time the track began. They are stored in the Documents folder so it can be easily moved off your phone.
- Keep display on - If you've got the phone mounted on your handlebars while riding you can prevent the display from going blank with this option. *** IMPORTANT - RIDE SAFELY. Feotec is not responsible for distracted riding of any kind. ***

If screen is locked then speed, distance, time, altitude, and GPS coordinates are displayed (Android 5.1+). If phone is unlocked but you're using another app then the same statistics are available in the Notification Drawer at the top of the screen (swipe down to view). After swiping down you can return to this app by simply pressing the notification.
