In the Harmony app, friends and family can share their feelings, while an algorithm calculates the level of mutual understanding and gathers insights.

The app adapted a technique from cognitive-behavioral therapy; giving and receiving feedback. It makes people more aware of others’ feelings and, as a result, creates stronger relationships.

Here’s where Harmony comes in: the in-app stats motivate all the participants to improve their results, and notifications help them to develop a new positive habit.

How does it work?
1. You get the app and add your circle: friends, family, partner.
2. The app asks you to estimate the current state of your relationships (according to your feelings).
3. The moment one person shares their evaluation, the rest get a notification. But they won’t be able to see the result until they share theirs.
4. After all participants shared their feelings, Harmony shows a mutual evaluation and concludes a mutual level of understanding for everyone.
5. Next, Harmony will ask you to share your feelings on a daily basis. The accumulated data helps to build patterns of relationship growth.
7. These stats help users to make better informed decisions and get insights on how to achieve true harmony.

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
