I've used this app for years. Can't live without it but it has its issues. "Talk" isn't working since the latest update, maybe longer. I would love to be able to view uninterupted recordings instead of 3 minutes at a time when it's set to record. Would be great to be able to search for a specific time like say, between 4-5 PM instead of viewing 100 clips before finding out just how the rake came up missing, for example.

this app works better in the free version that the paid one. Fix the bug and I will gladly change this review. As of now.. this app is garbage. There are many good things that I could say about the app, but I won't until the app is running as it should. For some reason my account only shows Pro version on the phone that it was purchased with. This means adds on the other devices connected to the same account. The worst is when I can't see recorded clips.. at all. (On the PAID version, mind you.)

Picket is better than Alfred: The camera doesn't run down the battery while plugged in, it saves video from about 3s before the motion, & it lets you specify the area of detection, greatly reducing false alarms. (A grid of squares can be turned on/off individually.) Camera can be zoomed. Sends a notification to the viewer in 20s (even when the viewing app isn't running) & in a few mins video is on Google drive. View in app or Web. You can also schedule when to detect motion with different hours 4 different weekdays.. Needs live video on PC rather than just on the viewer. I had some problems using a Galaxy Victory as the camera & a Galaxy S5 as the viewer. The remote zoom slider is on the viewer screen, but doesn't work. The zones 4 detection on the viewer vs. camera are flipped. The viewer to camera sound doesn't work. Took time to figure out that if the camera doesn't have an SD card & you set it to use it, it won't save anything online. Trial ends after 2 days. You can restart for 60m at a time. Trial's limited to 480p for no reason. Buy once, have at least 2 cameras & a viewer.

Given massive amount of functionaly, it would be surprising if everything worked perfectly in a free version. That said, I was able to use it quite effectively. Zoom worked very well and did not degrade the image quality (of cource, it is transmitting only 720x480 part, and I wish it could be increased to standard HD). The motion sensor that allows selecting the area using a fine grain grid and works realy well too.

Well worth paying for pro. It's simple to use and very handy to have. It helped me deal with a lid neighbor and prove that he was having large parties. I set up two old phones. The cameras on each of them are of different quality, so I did take a few minutes to fine tune the auto detect, but aside from that it was smooth sailing.

I dont like google account sign in. I am a more professional office user. I use microsoft office. I am a microsft geek. I dont like using google for anything other than laughing. Also I do like the speed of this app. I will come back when there is a premium fee to remove adds and an advanced option to use microsoft email instead of google. Thanks alot.
