Topapp,”The Owan People app” is an app designed to ease communication, relationship, information sharing and cultural awareness amongst Owan sons, daughters and her neighbouring ethnic groups and community.
The reason for developing the app is the never ending need for social media interaction and to keep the young Owanites abreast of happenings within the Owan community both at home and in diaspora it’s also to promote culture and traditions; the need to preserve our cultural heritage and existence as a people ”Owan”.
The Owan people of today consist of two major political constituency ”Owan east and West”, with two major towns representing each constituency as the local government headquarter;
Afuze representing Owan east local government as her headquarter and Evbiobe (Sabogindda Ora) representing Owan west local government as her headquarter.
Its our hope that this App will be a tool in your hands to bring to fulfilment, the aforementioned reasons for developing the app; the greatness of Owan, now depends on you.
