Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TerraTRUTH on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Please don't ask for permission to all my things right as I install the app. That is poor design. Please ask as I contextually try to use each feature requiring that permission. Thank you for what you are doing.

About this app

TerraTRUTH is a free, simple to use app that help concerned citizens monitor and document their public lands. Information and data collected through TerraTRUTH will be automatically uploaded to a private secure ArcGIS platform. Staff at the Conservation Lands Foundation and partners will utilize the information to better protect our public lands. CLF and our partners will use this information to tell data-driven stories--made up of interactive maps, photographs, tabular data and other content--that result in improved protection for lands, better-informed public and elected officials, and an empowered Friends Grassroots Network. New features

This is a major release that includes an upgraded user experience, offline support, and more. For offline use, (no cell/wifi connection during data collection) we updated the "Add Location" screen messaging to assure automatic recording of the user location with GPS.
