This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Ottawa Interactive Traffic on PC Windows and Mac.

Brilliant combination & execution of the most useful local open datasets with relevant realtime information. With minimal configuration this app immediately helped me remain productive throughout the day, by freeing up my manual checking of vital information due to it's automated & "all-in-one" format. I had a hard time giving this app 4-stars... it certainly wasn't difficult to justify a perfect 5-star rating, however, the app has a little room to improve & the dev is more than capable!📱😎👍

What a terrible format, doesn't actually have correct data. Useless

This app is definitely worth checking out for the up to date traffic incidents alone. The fact that it does even more like show traffic cams, food truck locations and winter highway conditions is excellent. I'd love to see realtime city snow plough info on here too! If you live in Ottawa, get this app.

About this app

The best place to get traffic information, among other things (like food truck/cart locations) about Ottawa roadways on your Android device.
Features include:
* Gallery view of the traffic cameras for Ottawa traffic cameras. Click a thumbnail, and it will bring you to a full screen view. Swipe left/right to view the next image. (Randomized display for non-premium version). Camera image availability is subject to the City of Ottawa infrastructure uptime/downtime service level standards, and is beyond the control of this application. There is a limit of 60 seconds per refresh of each image as well.
* Save your favorite traffic cameras so you can see them right away without scrolling through all the pictures . Long-press on the thumbnail to add to your favourites collection. (Limit of 2 for non-premium version)
* Map view of the traffic cameras. Click on the icon, to see a thumbnail preview, click on the thumbnail to go to a full screen mode viewing.
* Map view of weather conditions, around the vicinity of Ottawa (provided by Environment Canada) right from the horse's mouth! View the current temperature right away on the icon. Weather warnings are represented by red icons so you'll be aware of the current conditions before you head out. Click on it, to see a bit of details shown on an Info Window popup.
* Map view of road special events, incidents, construction
* Map view of parking lots, with capacity, type, payment type (or non-paid). Click on the info window to spawn your device navigation app.
* Map view of park and ride locations with capacity
* Map view of road conditions for Ontario Province
* Map view of red light cameras
* Map view of Ottawa's food truck/cart locations. Click on the info window to spawn your device navigation app.
* Map view of truck routes (colour coded). Tap on the polyline to see details
* Premium Upgrade removes all the advertisements, and unlocks advanced features, like saving favorite camera locations, pictures' sequence in gallery view will not be randomized, finding your current location relative to the map.
