This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Beer Counter on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Guess what, that's why we made Beer Counter!

It's as easy as tapping a button. Beer Counter does all the rest.

Beer Counter can:
✓ Check your blood alcohol in real-time
✓ Add real-time drinks or drinks from the past
✓ Add your favourite brands and custom drinks
✓ Keep history of all your consumptions

Used Permissions:
✓ Take Pictures + Write to SD Card: One is used to take pictures of your drinks. The other is to save those custom drinks on your device.
✓ Network Access + Running Apps: We use Crittercism for the bug reports. Oh and we need an internet connection so you can send email. You can choose to send the names of other running apps (it can help us debug faster).
✓ Prevent Sleep Mode + Vibration: these two are used in case you want to receive a notification when you're sober.

After 2 years finally a small update for the Beer Counter. Here's what changed:
* Ability to share beer statistics
* Users must now give camera and storage permissions to add a picture to a custom drink

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
