This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MEIT Emotional Intelligence on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The format of the test is original, but the UI is subpar and the test results are not helpful.

Why won't it let me past the first level? I took it twice thinking maybe I did something wrong but nope, it's not me. Please fix this & I will rate better, thanks.

MEIT (The Mobile Emotional Intelligence Test) is a simple and friendly application for assessing your abilities to perceive, understand and manage your Emotional Intelligence. MEIT has been developed by Emotional Apps (www.emotional-apps.com) and it is based on the most empirically supported Emotional Intelligence model (Four Branch Model; Mayer-Salovey). Answers of more than 1,000 users have been used for developing the test.

The main innovation of MEIT is the fact that there is not just a questionnaire but it is an ability test where the user must find out what emotion is presented and locate their emotions in terms of activation and pleasure.

MEIT is composed by 4 different tasks that request test-takers to guess the emotions that several pictures show. Additionally, test-takers must locate some emotions in the proper spot (cell) in relation to the activation and pleasure these emotions evoke and finally discriminate between emotions that are very close.

MEIT combines static pictures and animations that provide greater realism and entertainment.

After completing the test, users get a score and a rating that allow them to self-assess their Emotional Intelligence and compare it to other users. Finally, MEIT also allows users to share test results on Facebook.
