It was great at 1st, this was last spring. Since then it's been sitting in a bin, it kept shutting down every 10min. But I'll try again. Maybe I didn't install correctly. Someone else had. It's a great idea if it actually works properly. I'll try again. And add to my review.

Useless garbage!!!!!! I downloaded this app to manage my emberstrip I received and I thought it was going to be a cool app to have, to be able to shut your tv etc off from another room is useful with argumentative children. But, this stupid app rarely ever connects to the actual device, even when accessed through the Bluetooth settings. Just absolute pure unfiltered garbage!!!! And WHAT GENIUS decided it was intelligent to make the VOLUME BUTTON turn on the unit 🤦🏻♀️

Works just fine if you install it properly. Download the app before you try / wing it. There are two short videos to show you how. The steps aren't difficult, you just have to do them in the right order.

Connected with my Bluetooth. Make sure you get the cube flashing first. It takes a few moments to scan, connect, say connected, then paired. Be patient, it will work if done correctly.

Once you get past the pairing, it seems to work fine. Took the hammer approach and kept trying all sorts of combinations until it finally paired.

Doesn't even connect to bluetooth, the power save outlets turn off after 5minutes even setting the sensor buttons on 1 or 2 hour use or even the music setting. Good thing we didn't pay for this junk.
