Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing VirtualReality on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Augmented Reality Application, Near SAIT, AB, Canada

The app simulates an object near SAIT, AB, Canada, then it back-projects the object to the camera-preview based on the location and orinetation sensors in addition to the camera's interior characteristics. As you get closer to the object, the object gets enlarged. As you turn around the object, you will see its corners. In the middle of object there is a phrase "You Rock!", and it only appears if you are within 100 meters from the object. It gets smaller if you are far away. Future released will make you carete your own model in any geographic location.
