The looks of this app are great. The idea of it is great. The user friendliness, when it works, is great. But this app hardly ever works! I cannot set up a schedule for my new unit at all because every time I click it, the whole app shuts down. It took me a few days to get the unit connected to the app for the same reason. Please fix! Your app has so much potential!!!

Awful!! If you bought a Frigidaire connected appliance return it immediately or you will regret it! The app is awful. It constantly disconnects from my device (window AC unit) & wifi connection is not the issue. No matter what schedules I set, the unit does whatever it wants. I've never been more disappointed with a purchase. Returning the product, which is going to be a huge hassle.

Edit: after a few days of not working, it connected again and has been great since then. Until they get this fixed it doesn't even deserve 1 star. I wasn't even interested in the wifi but then got excited about it so I set it up, worked great for a day now it won't even let me log in, keeps saying "no internet" or "unable to connect to the cloud" or "something went wrong" it's all set up just fine but won't let me log into the app now!!! Now worthless to even have this app.

I've had a slightly better experience than most people, fortunately. My app only disconnects from the cloud every 3-4 days so it works most of the time. But that still doesn't excuse the fact that some days it just won't connect. TIP FOR ALL THOSE RUNNING INTO PROBLEMS: Connect the app to your Google Home or Alexa and you'll be able to turn it on and off without this app. You won't be able to set timers or change settings, but at least you'll be able to control when it's on or off.

Oh, yay, a 2.0 update. Maybe they've fixed that awful, nearly unusable 1.0 app. Nope, this one is awful in all new ways. The back button asks you to log out instead of returning to the home screen. The old schedular was bad, but I could get it to mostly do what I wanted. This one is worse. You can't even create an event that overlaps the current time? It gives some Java error. What happened to clean air mode? It's not in my remote, but I could enable it in the old app. Frigidaire is the worst.

Update: app works when I'm at home on the same network. Really need it to work when I'm NOT at home - isn't that the point? Old:Have only been able to connect to my older gallery AC once in the past few days since installing the new app. Problems signing in and often being told "lost connection". Rare that a 2.0 app is worse than the original.
