Last looks flash, but the "upgrade" makes it slower to use. Please please have a simple initial menu where I can reliably switch between filters. Even better put that on the body of the device like the old littman. This is now more clunky and has to be cleared each time to work smoothly.

Buggy and UK version not updated. I'm in the UK and the (I assume) US app was update Aug 2022. The UK app was last updated Oct 2021. Have to manually connect to the steth, start recording and then remember to assign, plus with a time critical patient. If you don't assign you lose the recording. Playback of the recording is extremely converlouted and extremely on full volume. Make the US app world wide and do yourself a favour. Would not recommend app as it is now.

The app is good and the issue with having to sign in each time mentioned previously seems to have been resolved. Using the app live is good, including the heart rate counter but the playback really needs work. Playback can be listed to through the phone speaker but you have to select headphone mode while the stethoscope is connected then playback. Also, playback doesn't retain the heart rate. It would be good if the files could be saved as eg MP3 to use for teaching and reflection. Good start.

Too bad it requires signing in online before every use. Not good for places with poor coverage or lack of Internet connection. Hope you make the app usable offline, including the saved recordings. Also, audio playback using either the phone's loudspeaker or earphones isn't that loud and clear and switching between the two listening modes isn't automatic when inserting/removing or connecting/disconnecting earphones.

There is a major problem with this app. You can view the recording graphically on the mobile screen but the sound cannot be heard through the phone speaker, and you have to use headphones instead. I suspect listening to the sound on the phone only works if you have bought the premium version and selected Device Streaming. The other niggle is that you have to sign in every time you use the app. Who thought that was a good idea? The device is capable, but the product suffers from poor software

Edited: Device works really well. The amplification is amazing and the filters work well. Replay is super handy even though it only works with headphones properly. Would live for it to work with the stethoscope itself instead. The app is pretty basic but intuitive and nice enough.
