I don't understand why the app attempts to auto connect to my Eko device when it's off and not in use. I get repeated notifications stating that it's "Auto connecting...". I should be the one to record or connect my Eko device to the app. I don't want it trying to connect or record on its own. Fix the issue or I'll be going back to the Littmann 3200 for sure!

The Eko stethoscope is phenomenal and the app has significantly improved over the past year. It is very simple to take, view, and share recordings. The UI is well organized. Previously, the app struggled remaining connected in the background, but recent updates seemed to have fixed that. One minor problem I do have is that it is very difficult to scroll through a recording. It's very sensitive to any vertical movement when trying to scroll forward/backwards.

Okay folks. Customer service came through. Check your font settings if you have a android device. I shrunk mine down a bit. And the rest of the setup instructions showed up. We need help with the app for Android, Samsung 9. And I have Phonak hearing aids. So the app for setup does really nothing. It shows a Bluetooth connection, but still states I need an application. No waveform screen that it switches to. The app has all permissions and I've cleared caches out etc.

This rating is only for the app, i love the actual Core. The app is fiddly and cumbersome to use in an exam setting while also trying to auscult at the same time. I love the ability to change audio filters but ABHOR doing so on the app as I would need multiple hands! Please update firmware to allow audio filter switching on the Core itself! Maybe an option to turn the record button into an audio filter switching button? Recording is not fun or shareable as i thought it'd be. The volume is dismal

The update on the app has made it super glitchy! It starts recording immediately upon connection, taking control away from the user. It then auto saves every nonsense recording, and then, upon exiting the nonsense recording, immediately starts a new one. Which ends after less than a second without any input. Never allowing me any control. Not allowing me to select 'quick record' or 'exam', just in a constant loop of nonsense recording. In the market for a 3M or anything better than this now....

Love the app and the amplification of the stethoscope. The two items separately are fantastic, but they don't communicate like they should. App won't run in the background, so I can't record or wirelessly auscultate without my phone out and on. I also wish there was a way to switch between heart and lung audio filters without having to open the app (a double button click?). Great product that works well, just needs a little more synchrony so I'm not having to use two things at once.
