This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Edge SmartThings on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

With SmartThings, you can connect, monitor and control multiple smart home devices quicker and easier. Connect your Samsung smart TVs, smart appliances, smart speakers and brands like Ring, Nest and Philips Hue - all from one app.

Now, you can control your smart devices with a single tap by manually running your scenes (routines) from Edge Panels. Your scenes in Edge Panels are always synchronized with your SmartThings account, making it easy to sort them by name, creation date, modification date, or execution date.

** Supported devices:
• Compatible with Samsung devices featuring Edge Panels, including the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S series, Galaxy A series, and Galaxy Z Flip series...

** Notes:
• Edge SmartThings does not function on tablets and foldable devices (except for the Z Flip series) due to Samsung's policy, which prohibits third-party apps from running on these devices.

** How to use:
• Setting app > Display > Edge panels > check Edge SmartThings panel
• When update a new version: Setting app > Display > Edge panels > uncheck Edge SmartThings panel, then check again.
• In case of any problems, please do 2nd step again (uncheck and check again).
