The App is buggy but does the job, the website works best. There are 2 bugs in Time pop-up window for Vacation and Schedule settings. 1. The OK button is invisible on the bottom right side of this pop-up window. If you hold your thumb on the bottom right of the pop-up the OK button will appear. 2. Minor one, The time setting in the Schedule option only allows 30 min intervals, even though you can select minutes. Vacation allows the time to be set up to the minute.

Nice to be able to access st any time, especially when wanting to monitor when away. However, I find it very difficult to get the app to change settings and keep them. This is much less user friendly from the previous Housewise thermostat that wasn't keeping the program that was set. Even the tech who replaced it with this Ecobee had a difficulty setting it up, and only very briefly instructed me because he had to spend more time himself setting it up.

Currently the app is not allowing me to set the time on schedules. I can go in and set the time, but there is no button to click to confirm that is the time I want, and I'm forced to either press the back button, or click somewhere else on the screen, which results in the time I just set, not being saved. Ecobee has replied to my rating, saying there's an update that fixes the issue. It's been three days and there is not. This is an ongoing problem.

Glitchy and options have no functionality. Trying to set up a vacation and it allows you to "add" the vacation but when you click to change the dates and times there is no option to select done or save from the pop up. Makes zero sense and renders the option completely useless since it has default default the same day it is and the time it currently is and lasts 1 day. I need it set for a week while away. If you are going to have an app, atleast make it usable.

System is buggy and basic. I can't delete vacation schedules. When editing vacation schedules it just keeps adding a new one. You can only schedule in 30 minute increments for temperature settings. Alexa integration barely works so we turn that off. Otherwise as a thermostat it works. For the number of years they've been in business, you cannot rely on their software. Even if they fix it, they'll just break it again in a future update.

Bug #1 - Ok button on the time picker (bottom right) is invisible. Bug #2 - when setting a comfort setting via a smart home device the hold is indefinite regardless of the setting to resume at next scheduled event. Why don't you show what equipment is running on the main app screen? Being that ecobee has been around for a while it's discouraging to see that simple things like landscape mode don't exist.
