This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing GPS Status & Toolbox on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

This app has been sucking lately! It was fairly reliable over the past couple of years, but now it often shows wildly wrong directions, freezes, and shows no calibration data, even if I just calibrated multiple times and it showed full calibration (green). Also stopped being able to pick up any satellites at all at my office some time back. The building is concrete, but it used to work there regardless. Even next to a window it doesn't anymore. No updates in over a year?! This needs support!

I purchased the pro for this app and the developer is now requiring me to purchase it again to remove ads. They are not responding to requests. I would be satisfied with an older version but they did not make that available either.

Can you please get the versions in sync between the Google store and Huawei store so that license works and it stops unloading and loading the license or better yet please fix the root problem and ensure when someone buys a license it works in both stores. Thank you this annoying problem has been for like a month now.

Takes several minutes even up to an hour to get a lock on your position. Used to work in seconds. Locks up resources on the phone so other apps can't use the gps of the phone. Uninstalled... Never reliable so never use it.

Used to be good, but now very often not showing right direction even after calibration. When trying to save location, it saves something else...

The only accurate information it displays is the time and percentage of battery left. The rest looks generated by randomizer. My phone lays on desk, but the speed and map coordinates keep changing. Coordinates places me off Brazil in the middle of South Atlantic Ocean. I am actually in Johannesburg, South Africa.
