This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing EARN-E on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Can't connect to network, even though the manual is foolproof. I keep getting error 101 on different devices. I didn't bother to contact them, it should be plug and play. And if my safety settings are too rigid for this I don't want this in my network.

About this app

De EARN-E app is een simpele tool om op een leuke manier thuis minder stroom en gas te gebruiken. Zodat door energiebesparing je energierekening omlaaggaat, en daarmee een CO2-reductie realiseert; wat goed is voor ons milieu, win-win!

Met de EARN-E app zie je live wat je verbruikt aan elektriciteit en gas en wat je teruglevert aan het stroomnet als je zonnepanelen hebt.

Zet je bijvoorbeeld je waterkoker aan, dan zie je dit direct terug in het stroomoverzicht van de app. Zo word je bewust van wat alle apparaten verbruiken.

Door het inzicht dat de EARN-E app biedt bespaart een huishouden gemiddeld 3% op het stroomverbruik en gemiddeld 4% op het gasverbruik (Bron: ECN Energieonderzoek Centrum Nederland). Voor een huishouden betekent dit een gemiddelde kostenbesparingen van € 70,- per jaar en een CO2-reductie van 181,5 kg per jaar.

Je hoeft geen klant te zijn van een specifieke energieleverancier. Iedereen kan altijd meedoen. Het enige wat nodig is, is een; slimme energiemeter, WiFi en een smartphone.
