What a bunch of cranks. All the "complaints" are just requests for improvements. Yes, slider controls allowing increased fine tuning would be great, So would having bluetooth in the aids for in-ear on the fly adjustments. Eargo has done an incredible job so far and is ahead of any company I know of in customer service. I'm confident that their engineers are working hard on the next generation.

Simplify the app by allowing settings to be changed while in the ear. PINB to connect, change, put in ears...rinse/repeat. Edit. Havent been able to wear because app couldn't find the charger. Nothing but troubles! Call to get a new charger..1 yr warranty...that'll be $200 please. So I'm paying for another year on the loan and can't use.

Could not get the app on my Samsung phone to connect to the charger. Borrowed my daughter's iPhone7 and the app immediately connected and the programming was simple.

Customer service has been great but I still can't connect with the damn charger now I am on my second charger and still the same problem I have been to the phone company and their techs couldn't get it to work either the phone company tech said that the version of the phone should be able to run the application if they couldn't figure it out I'm sure eargo can't figure it out either time to send them back would not recommend at all

Limited usefulness due to the fact that it can only be used when the Eargo devices are in the charger. The app allows the user to select one of several situational settings (TV, Phone, Crowd, Meeting, Restaurant, etc.) for each of the four power levels. You can also boost or suppress treble and bass, but it's an all or nothing adjustment. It would be far more useful if the app could connect the the Eargo devices while in your ears to avoid double-slapping your ears to adjust the program level.
