This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SoundTempo Putt on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Yes, it costs a bit more than others but I've found this to be a really great concept. Having the sliding tones pass across headphones, coupled with tones for backswing finish and impact makes it easier to time too, than a metronome tick. The added bonus of backswing length has helped also to start to develop feel for different putt lengths, even tabled it for help on the course. Confidence is growing with rhythm and tempo, with added in gates etc start line too. Pay the extra, it worth it

About this app

The most important aspect of putting is repeatable and consistent distance control. Distance control requires consistent tempo. Tempo is your putt timing comprised of the backswing and downswing. Just set your Downswing Tempo in bpm, your Backswing Rhythm ratio, Compute and Run/Stop, and you’ll hear how a perfect putting stroke sounds. You’ll hear the backswing, the downswing, and impact. Match your putting stroke with the tones and you’ll build consistent tempo and distance control. In addition, the Putt Wizard calculates your backswing length based on tempo, green speed, up/down slope%, and the distance you want to roll the ball in feet. This app has been developed in collaboration with Visio by Phil Kenyon, the World’s Leading Putting Instructor.
