An application that turns your smartphone into a tool that saves lives for drivers and passengers.

ORYX DriveAngel l is a mobile application for smartphones that accompanies you while driving a car and by measuring changes in speed, vehicle noise and other parameters, detects traffic accidents and automatically sends a call to the ORYX Assistant Emergency Contact Center that is active 24 hours a day all year round. After the detected traffic accident center sends a call to Emergency Services by giving them all the necessary information to help you.
 
The ORYX DriveAngel will warn you with audio and visual message that you are traveling too long without taking any break. Apart from worrying about your driving condition, ORYX DriveAngel offers the ability to display vehicle volume / noise, speed, travel time and more, and all to find out with just one click through the installation!
 
With ORYX DriveAngel your close ones will also be less worried. You can share a ride with a person of your choice, and your journey can be tracked on a digital map either by email or by SMS.

While traveling with ORYX DriveAngel as well as any other applications that use GPS is an additional load on the battery of your mobile phone. While the application is "waiting" for a drive in the background, battery power is negligible.

App Permissions

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
