Good app to control a domintell system from the phone. It does not allow changing the hierarchy of the system. Hence the initial setup on the hardware has to be good.

I've invested quite a lot of money in Domintell (>15k EUR) and -honestly - I'm quite disappointed. First the positive part. If you are a computer scientist like me, you can write your own software to interface with their UDP api and create your own mobile app to control your shutters/lights. I even made it integrate with the google assistent and the google smart home app :) Then the reason why I would never invest in this system again. Although the Domintell Pilot is slightly better than the previous app that was offered, it still feels like it was made 10 years ago. It works session based, so every 5 minutes you need to hit the reconnect button. (Modern systems hide such details for the user and do that automatically). Using the entire "screen real estate" to control one shutter (3 buttons) is not well thought out. Note that you cannot configure your house with the Domintell Pilot. For that you need the goldengate software. When they recently upgraded my system to goldengate, I noticed that I could no longer connect to with golden gate over the wireless connection. The response from domintell support: "the DETH03 module (that I bought 1 year ago), is no longer supported. But we have good news: you can now buy the DNET01 module instead for 544EUR. And if you return the old module, we'll give you 25% reduction". So no, they are not backwards compatible as they claim on their website. The design of Goldengate is much worse than the domintell pilot. Lot's of linguistic errors (at least in the dutch version) and also no manual. And trust me, you need a manual to understand this application...

This application is OK. I would like to see more customization options, especially more choices for icons. The current set is very limited, you can't even select light options other than default switch.
