Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iTicket on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

iTicket makes use of NFC to validate tickets from attendee to event organizer. In doing so, it reduces the need for physical tickets and lining up to receive them. This app can be used for concerts, seminars, plays, parties, and all events in which you wish to manage attendance efficiently!

Create & manage events. Reserve & validate tickets. All in one app.

Features:
- Sign up with a new account, or Login with an existing one!
- Main page shows Tickets, Events, and Event Requests belonging to the user!
- Ticket and Event Cards show important details (like the Ticket Status on the bottom-right for Ticket Cards, and the Event Code for Event Cards)!
- Clicking on Ticket and Event Cards show all details!
- Event Details include the list of approved attendees!
- Add tickets by entering their Event Code!
- Add events to the app server for others to attend!
- Approve or reject requests to your events!
- Use NFC to check & validate tickets! (this feature requires that Android Beam and NFC are on)
- To activate checking mode on Attendee device:
- Long-press on Ticket Card OR click on Ticket Card and click bottom-right Menu, click Attend Event.
- Once in checking mode, tap device against Checker device.
- The checker will receive a notification to confirm your ticket status change and your Ticket Card will reflect this! Exit Checking Mode by clicking the icon in the middle of the screen and clicking the “Cancel Checking” button.
- To activate checking mode on Checker/Event Organizer device:
- Long-press on Event Card OR click on Event Card and click bottom-right Menu, click Attend Event.
- Once in checking mode, have Attendee tap their device against your [Checker] device.
- You will receive a notification to confirm the status change of your Attendee’s ticket! Exit Checking Mode by clicking icon in the middle of the screen and clicking the “Cancel Checking” button.
- View your profile to see events you have already attended!
