Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Photoplex on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Photoplex is an easy to use photos app that lets you assign a note and/or reminder to your photo. It has powerful on device image text recognition and lets you search on that text. This powerful search function makes it easy to find any photo, from sea of photos, much after you have taken it.


Don't clutter your main Photos app, use Photoplex for bills, receipts, prescriptions and anything else you want to be able to search and find later. The image text recognition is so powerful, you will certainly find what you are looking for.


Privacy
Photoplex was built with privacy as top priority. Your photo never leaves your device. Text recognition also happen on device (yes!). Only local on device notifications are used. Photoplex does not even need internet connection.

Everything is stored locally. Please use iCloud for backup.


Scenario
Imagine you have bill in the mail but don't have time right now. Open Photoplex, take a picture, add a quick note and a due date. Done. Photoplex will send you a notification reminder. Or you can always go back to the app and search to find the bill.
