This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Buddy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Love the app. Best interface out of all the other apps out there. Has social integrations and diving community interactions. Since this is a new app, bluetooth dive computer downloads are still missing. Hopefully they will also add possibility to import/export dive log formats from other popular apps such as Subsurface (which is open source) or Diving Log 6.0 on Windows (app also). Having a backup to GoogleDrive or DropBox of the dive log would be great in case development ceases.

No import of dives from other apps. No download of dives from dive computers. Long way to go to catch up with the competition.

Looks like an amazing app but there may still be some stuff missing I wasn't able to add my certification card because I was certified by an agency not listed (IANTD)
