This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iMax dive buddy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

App crashes every time I try to update the downloaded dive locations. The dives will download, but aside from date, time, depth & duration, I cannot update specifics about the dive (s). As a backup or reference, it works.

iMax dive buddy is the accompanying App for the Maxtec iMax dive buddy product: the wireless data logger for the connected SCUBA diver.

To use this App you need an Android device equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 low energy technology.

iMax dive buddy is the easiest way to log and share your scuba dives. While diving just attach the iMax dive buddy data logger to your BCD.
After the dive, use the iMax dive buddy App to wirelessly retrieve the log of the dives you have stored on your iMax dive buddy.
